The Pirates enter the 2024-2025 season ready to bounce back from a rough season a year ago. Head coach Brian Hopgood is excited and ready to see what his squad can accomplish this season. “This year’s team marks the beginning of a new era,” he said. “We have three returning starters Tayton Jackson, Ty Bishop, and TJ Wilson. The team also includes veteran players and has added 6’7″ freshman Brian Hopgood Jr. Bristow Basketball aims to make significant progress this year.” The trio of Tayton Jackson (Jr.), Ty Bishop (Sr.), and TJ Wilson (So.) will be significant to the success of the team this season. They bring experience and skill and will also help develop the underclassmen. The additions of Brian Hopgood Jr (Fr.) will make an immediate impact on the floor as he brings size and tenacity. Another member of the team to watch for this season is DJ Allen (Jr.). He has worked hard in the offseason and is ready to hit the court.
