

Olive High School may not be the biggest school in Oklahoma, but what it does have is one of the top guards in the state.
Clark Pepper III was recently named to the All-Valley Basketball Team for his sophomore season with Olive HS. Not only known for his offensive abilities, Pepper was a force on the defensive end of the court. For the season Pepper averaged 4.6 steals and 3.5 blocks per game.
On the offensive end of the floor, Pepper averaged 10.5 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.
We caught up with Clark Pepper III after being named to the All-Valley Team to learn more about the Olive High School guard.
VYPE: What have you enjoyed most about being a student-athlete at Olive High School?
Pepper: Making lifelong friends, working on my education and building relationships with friends, teachers and coaches.
VYPE: Do you belong to any clubs or groups at school?
Pepper: I am in the Native American club.
VYPE: What is your favorite subject in school?
Pepper: I like math because my teacher makes it super understandable.
VYPE: Do you have a favorite teacher in school?
Pepper: I can’t put one over the others because I like them all. They all help me a lot.
VYPE: What do you want your legacy to be at Olive High School?
Pepper: I would like to be remembered as a student-athlete who is willing to help anyone.
VYPE: What would you like to do once your playing days in high school are over?
Pepper: I would like to play college basketball, get a degree in Child Development, and hopefully work in special education.
VYPE: What do you love most about this basketball team?
Pepper: It’s a good group of hard-working guys with good personalities.
VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Pepper: I enjoy lifting weights and putting shots up.
