
VYPE: Addison, what grade are you in this year?
Addison Pehrson: I’m a junior.
VYPE: What’s been your biggest improvement to your game this year?
AP: My biggest improvement has definitely been my mindset. I truly am enjoying everything that sports have given me since I know I only have another year of high school sports.
VYPE: What do you love most about your team and teammates?
AP: Our team is like a family; we are very close and want to compete and win for each other.
VYPE: Who inspires you?
AP: My sister is the person who inspires me most. She has gone through some tough times and has always endured it and came out even better than before.
VYPE: Do you have a favorite subject in school or a favorite teacher?
AP: My favorite subject is math, and my favorite teacher is Mrs. Lovell who teaches Algebra 2.
VYPE: Where is your favorite place to compete?
AP: My favorite place to compete is definitely on the basketball court.
VYPE: What’s the most difficult thing about being a student-athlete?
AP: The most difficult thing about being a student-athlete is juggling time to get schoolwork done when being so busy with sports.
VYPE: Do you belong to any clubs or groups at school?
AP: I am in gifted and talented, bookclub, and NHS.
VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
AP: In my free time I love reading, playing pickleball, and just hanging out with my friends.
VYPE: Which teammate is the most vocal and who keeps everyone laughing?
AP: The teammate who is most vocal is definitely Adley Elliott or me. The teammate who keeps everyone laughing is Jayden Caruthers.
