VYPE: Mckayla, what grade are you in this season and how long have you played the game of golf?
Livingston: I am a senior and have played golf since freshmen year.
VYPE: What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at Mannford High School?
Livingston: I love being able to challenge myself to balance both good grades and athletics. I believe it’s a good skill to have and will help me in the future.
VYPE: What’s the best thing about your teammates?
Livingston: I love how encouraging my teammates are. They always want what is best for me and support me through everything!
VYPE: Are you involved in other clubs or groups at school?
Livingston: I am involved with National Honor Society, Gifted and Talented, Oklahoma Honor Society, book club, and spirit club.
VYPE: Do you have a favorite subject or teacher in school?
Livingston: My favorite subject in school is math because It challenges me on a new level. I do not have a specific favorite teacher but there are many teachers that support me day in and day out.
VYPE: Do you have a favorite course to play?
Livingston: LaFortune Park in Tulsa is my favorite course to play because they offer a par 3 course and a normal course. I also love that it is surrounded by cars and building because it teaches me to really dial in and focus.
VYPE: What are you looking forward to the most this upcoming season?
Livingston: I am very excited for this upcoming season. We have lots of new girls joining us and I can’t wait to see them fall in love with the sport just as I did.
VYPE: What would you like to do after you graduate?
Livingston: After graduation I plan on attending Oklahoma State University to receive a bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Livingston: In my free time I enjoy going to the lake, shopping, going to concerts, and traveling.
