Getting to know Mannford’s Bella Pehrson – Presented by RibCrib

VYPE: What are your goals this season? 

Bella: My goals are to PR in my races and make it to state again. 

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life? 

Bella: What sports has taught me. Overcoming adversity, learning to work with others to achieve a common goal, learning to never give up. 

VYPE: What does your team mean to you?

Bella: My team means a lot to me, without them to push me everyday I wouldn’t be the athlete I am today.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?

Bella: My parents inspire me the most. They push me when need be and are always my biggest supporters.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why? 

Bella: I think my teammate Peyton Carson has left the biggest impression on me when it comes to running. She always pushes me to be a better runner and helps me succeed. 

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?  

Bella: My favorite part about being on a team is how you have a built in family. You can always know they are there for you and will always have someone to talk to. 

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you? 

Bella: I would go to a beach somewhere and bring my family and my best friends. 

VYPE: What is the best advice you have ever received?

Bella: My best advice I’ve gotten is that even the best athletes fail and that it’s okay to fail. You just have to keep working to become the best you can be.

Bella: I would just like to thank my family, friends and coaches for always supporting me and pushing me to be the best.
