VYPE: Grant, what makes being a student-athlete at Mannford HS special for you?
Pierce: I love being a student-athlete at Mannford High School because the coaches and environment are easy to make yourself better.
VYPE: What grade are you in this season?
Pierce: I’m in the 11th grade.
VYPE: How long have you competed in track?
Pierce: I have run track since the 8th grade.
VYPE: What do you love most about your teammates at Mannford HS?
Pierce: I love that it’s easy to push each other to be better and compete against each other.
VYPE: What events will you run this season?
Pierce: I will compete in the 4×100, 4×200, 300-meter hurdles, and the 4×400.
VYPE: How does the team looks this season?
Pierce: I think we have a lot of weapons this year especially in the sprint relays.
VYPE: Do you have a favorite subject in school or a favorite teacher?
Pierce: My favorite subject in school is probably history and I do not have a favorite teacher.
VYPE: What are your plans after you graduate?
Pierce: After I graduate, I plan to go medical school for EMT classes then go be a firefighter.
VYPE: What do you enjoy doing when you have some free time?
Pierce: In my free time I enjoy hunting and being with my family and girlfriend.
