Kellyville Baseball – Team Spotlight – Presented by Makenzie Townsend – Coldwell Banker

The Kellyville Ponies’ baseball team had a solid season a year ago, advancing to the regional tournament and falling just short of making it to state. They came into this season looking to build off of last season’s
success with a lot of familiar faces.

“We finished 21-9 last season with only one senior,” said head coach Kevin Nance. “We returned all of our pitching from last season.”

This season, the Ponies are led by two seniors: Easton Nance and Jaxen Gillett. They are both outstanding athletes and solid baseball players. They will look to help their team make another postseason run.

The 2025 campaign has been good for Kellyville early on in the season. They started the season with a 7-1 record and, at the time of this writing, are 13-6. Along with the two seniors, they also have a solid group of underclassmen who are contributing to the team’s success. They are juniors, Kody Moseby, Tyler Goins,
Daxton Thronbrue, Issac Stone, and Ben Stallons.

The underclassmen who will look to make an impact this season are sophomores Jackson Jones, Kurtis Smith, Asher Thornbrue, Wyatt Stotts, Josh Barnett, Jayden Harmon, Blayze Dunn, and Martin Battenfield. Joining them are freshmen Braylon Nance, Skylar Curry, Kayden Harjo, Christian Galbraith, Karsyn Schank,
and Boone McGuire.
