VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?
Kennedy: I am a junior at Chandler High School and I play softball.
VYPE: What accomplishment or memory are you most proud of?
Kennedy: Throwing a no hitter in the state tournament.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you?
Kennedy: Ashtyn Lynch. I joined a new club team last spring and we clicked. She has the same goals and beliefs as me. Even though I had to switch teams due to my age, we still talk daily. She pushed me to be better throughout the time we got to play together and I am truly grateful for that.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?
Kennedy: Me and my teammates do a great job of representing our school with humbleness, integrity, and respect. We collectively represent our school with those three things very well. I am blessed to have these great girls by my side.
VYPE: Who inspires you?
Kennedy: My parents. They both put in the work to reach their goals, and succeeded because of their hard work and determination.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?
Kennedy: Mrs. Peery, she sweet and makes math more understanding.
VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?
Kennedy: Steak, potatoes, and broccoli.
VYPE: Here is your chance to give a shoutout or say thank you to anyone you wish.
Kennedy: Thank you to all of my supporters, I know there are so many I have to give thanks to, but can’t name them all. So thank you to everyone that takes part in supporting me and my teammates.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Kennedy: Mexico with my besties.
