Bristow’s Darien Dansby – Football Spotlight – Presented by B&B Roofing & Construction

VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?

Darien: I am a senior at Bristow High School and I play football and run track

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Darien: Charles Ware took me under his wing during my freshman year and we’ve been best friends since.

VYPE: What accomplishment or memory are you most proud of?

Darien: Starting on varsity as a freshman. It was great to see all of my hard work pay off.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?

Darien: It would have to be Jake Avery. He teaches freshman government and is also one of my football coaches. He was the first person who gave me a chance in football and we have been close ever since.

VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to?

Darien: My favorite athlete is Tom Brady because he fought adversity and still showed up.

VYPE: Who inspires you?

Darien: My grandparents are my biggest inspirations because I see how hard they work everyday.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you about more than just the game?

Darien: I have learned how to be a better person.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Darien: I would go to Greece and I would take my grandparents.
