Q&A with Chandler’s Chace Massie – Presented by Thompson’s Insurance Agency-American Farmers and Ranchers

VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?

Chace: I’m passionate about my sport because it helps push me to improve and strengthen my mental and physical toughness.


VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to and why?

Chace: I look up to Spencer Lee because not only is he a great athlete, but he is also humble and very strong.


VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Chace: Mrs.Herber, who was my seventh-grade teacher. We had fun while also learning and she made me feel welcomed.


VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?

Chace: The jokes you hear from teammates and trips to eat with teammates.


VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Chace: Tyson Rivas because he also had strong Christian beliefs and was always nice and made jokes from time to time.


VYPE: Are you involved in any other activities?

Chace: I’m in Business Professionals of America, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and this year’s student council.


VYPE: What has been your favorite memory of playing?

Chace: State wrestling tournament this year because I made the finals and wasn’t the only one from Chandler at state.


VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?

Chace: My mom’s spaghetti.
