Congratulations to the following Mannford High School athletes who advanced to the Class 4A Track & Field State Championships, which were held at Ardmore High School on May 5-6.
Ryan Owens (400 meter dash)
Ayden Evans (110 meter hurdles)
Grant Pierce (300 meter hurdles)
Peyton Carson (800 meter run, 1600 meter run, 3200 meter run)
Lydon Swafford (1600 meter run, 3200 meter run)
Destinee Delancey (high jump)
Jayden Epperley (high jump)
Trinity Tuell (pole vault)
Girls 4×200 and 4×400 meter relay teams
Boys 4×200 and 4×800 meter relay teams
Peyton Carson, a junior, won a state championship in the 3200 meter run, finished third in the 1600 meter and was fourth in the 800 meter.
Lydon Swafford went on to place fourth in the 1600 meter run.
