2024-2025 Kellyville Lady Ponies Basketball Preview

KELLYVILLE PONIES

GIRLS

Coach: Taylor Todd

23-24 Record: 13-14

The Lady Ponies bring back three starters from last season, but they also have a lot of youth on the roster. Head coach Taylor Todd says that her squad has worked hard and is ready to get the season started. “Our team this year will be much younger than we have in the past,” she said. “We will also play with more size than we have in the past. We bring back three starters from last year’s team and we will look to these three to bring a lot of leadership to the team. We have a great freshman group coming in this year and we hope to see a lot of minutes from them this year. This group is going to be very hard working and are eager to get started.” Aidan Cargil plays hard and does not care who is the opponent for that day. She always has a big defensive role on the team in guarding the opposing team’s best player and does a great job doing it. Freshman Ariannah Lewis brings a lot of athletic ability and skill to the team. She has put a lot of work in this off season to make her game even better. Another freshman that will look to make an impact on the court will be Bretlynn Hansen. She brings a lot of basketball knowledge to the team and she is a great player to have because she has the skills of a guard but the toughness of a post player. Kallie Martin is one of those players that fills in wherever her team needs her to. She can play the post or at point guard or anywhere in between. She is an outstanding player that should have a big season.
