VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?
Koda: I am a senior at Cushing High School. I play basketball and golf.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and?
Koda: My teammate Cayden Sherwood has left the biggest impression on me just by how much he helped me along my golf journey. He always kept me in check about my mental game and would help me in areas if I needed it.
VYPE: Who inspires you?
Koda: I think the person that inspires me the most is my dad, because no matter what I’ve never seen him give up on anything he’s always kept trying his hardest to better himself for our family and he is always there for us.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?
Koda: Getting to represent my high school means a lot to me because I’m not only representing the name, I’m representing the people of the school such as the students and staff.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?
Koda: My favorite teacher was my English III teacher Ms. Davenport. She was young like us and understood us more mentally
VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
Koda: The best advice I’ve ever gotten was no matter how much more talented someone is than you if you work hard enough.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Koda: I would pick Hawaii. It’s just extremely beautiful and I’d love to live there someday. And I’d like to take my family and girlfriend.
VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?
Koda: My all time favorite meal would be a tomahawk steak with mac and cheese and mashed potatoes.

Koda:I would like to say thank you to my parents for always being there and supporting me no matter how much I am struggling and for all the sacrifices they have made.
