9 Questions with Mannford’s Reagan Percell – Presented by Rib Crib

VYPE: What grade are you currently in and how long have you been cheering?

Reagan Percell: I’m a junior and have been cheering for seven years. I’ve done sideline cheer for five years and competitive cheer for six years with Mannford Competitive Cheer.

VYPE: What is your job on the cheer squad?

RP: I’m a main and side base on my cheer team. I was also a former co-captain last year as a sophomore.

VYPE: How much time do you spend practicing before the school year even starts?

RP: We spend roughly 2-3 hours practicing before the school year starts. 

VYPE: What are your favorite pregame and postgame meals?

RP: My favorite pregame meal is an alani and a crispito from our local Jiffy Trip. Pizza is my favorite post game meal.

VYPE: What do you love most about your teammates?

RP: I love the goofiness and friendship that my team has. We always break out in song together, even though we sound awful.

VYPE: What other groups or clubs are you involved in at school?

RP: I’m president for HOSA at Central Tech Drumright, I’m a reporter for my class office, a member of the Spanish Club and NHS.

VYPE: What is your favorite subject and who is your favorite teacher?

RP: My favorite subject is science, although my favorite teacher is Mrs. Spradlin, my eighth grade English teacher.

VYPE: Who has been a big influence in your life and why?

RP: One of my biggest influencers has to be my dad. He has always been my number one fan throughout my cheerleading career. My other influence has to be my former MCC coach, Kim Reed. She brought me out of my shell growing up and has always supported me.

VYPE: What are your plans for after you graduate?

RP: My plans after school are to get my Associates or Bachelors degree in Science at OSU.
