Bristow basketball player ShaLyn Edmondson was interviewed by VYPE.
VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
My personal goal for this year is to become more disciplined and to strive everyday to give the best I can.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
A 2022 Graduate, Camille Pritchard left the biggest impression on me because she was very competitive and strived for the best in games and even in practices. She gave her best and worked hard on the sport she loves.
VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
How close we have become since last year.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
This sport has taught me discipline more than anything. Life isn’t always going to go your way, but it is what you make it.
VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
You get what you give.
VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
One of the assistant coaches, Coach Busch, inspires me because she knows how to encourage me and stays positive when we need it the most. I look up to her when playing this sport.
VYPE: Here is your chance to give a shoutout or say thank you to anyone you wish.
I would love to thank my Savior for the blessing it is to play this sport, my mom and dad and family for being my #1 supporters, and every coach that believes in me when I doubt myself.
